We can’t say for sure who first came up with the idea of cutting wooden strips into rhombus cladding. But we certainly do know that rhombus cladding turned out to be a brilliant idea. It offers visual and technical advantages and is incredibly versatile. The horizontal mounting of the boards gives the façade a stretched visual effect in addition to benefits of a more technical nature. Driving rain runs off the chamfered surfaces better which helps to avoid potentially dangerous waterlogging. You can also use these wooden strips for your modern car port, your stylish shelter or to create a privacy screen. It’s worth taking advantage of the benefits that our Siberian larch rhombus cladding can bring, and letting yourself be inspired by the simple design of these ordered façades.
Siberian larch is very strong, dries quickly and is resistant to fungal attack come frost, snow, storms or hot summer temperatures - all fantastic reasons to cover your house and insulate it from the effects of the weather. Your new rhombus cladding is delivered smoothly planed on every side, chamfered, dried and untreated, and is available in thicknesses of 20mm and 27mm and with a width of 68mm. It is also dried so that it contains 18% (+/-2%) moisture. It can be delivered in lengths of 2m, 3m and 4m depending on warehouse stock.
